Carol Speed-Zeyen, MSW, RSW is a Registered Social Worker with a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Toronto (1994) and has an Advanced Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). She has also been trained in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) techniques and Psychotherapy. Her professional mental health counselling career includes work at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (Clarke site), St. Michael’s Hospital, Mackenzie Health, and Southlake Regional Health Centre. She has also provided mental health focused psycho-educational lectures to University of Toronto medical students and provided consultation to Registered Nurses, General Practitioners and Medical Residents.

Her warmth and genuine nature allows her clients to feel comfortable in Sessions as they build insights, new perspectives and coping skills.
